Apple Releases 10.5 Leopard

Posted: Oct 10 2007

Today Apple, Inc. released its next generation Mac OS 10.5, codenamed "Leopard". What does that mean for FormsX 7 users?

Matthias Günther, Senior Product Manager for QuarkXPress today said: "Although our early tests show QuarkXPress 7.3 will run on Leopard we plan on releasing a QuarkXPress 7 update fully tested Leopard support within the next few weeks. This will be a free update for existing users and will be available to download from the Quark Web site."

So far, FormsX 7.2 seems to be working well in QuarkXPress 7.3 on Mac OS 10.5. We will continue full testing before giving the new OS our official 'ok' to use with the FormsX family of products.

If you have performed an 'Archive and Install' option when installing the new Mac OS, be sure to run the full FormsX 7 installer to install the needed system frameworks. Then grab the very latest FormsX 7 XTensions Module to be fully up to date.
