FormsX Server Progressive Editing
FormsX Server now supports progressive editing of forms via a web browser.
Other forms management systems require a user to download a PDF fillable form to a workstation and then keep that form in one location until all of the editing and data entry is complete. This can be a hassle to the user who may need to add data at one workstation one hour, and then add more data from a different location at a subsequent time. Worse, PDF based systems require a per-workstation license of Acrobat Professional (or equivalent) at a high overall cost to install and maintain over many workstations.
In contrast, FormsX Server presents the fully editable form through a web browser, allowing the user the convenience to log in from anywhere and pick right up where one left off. At any time a PDF may be generated to forward or print locally. When the form is complete, the user clicks the "submit" button and the data is sent electronically via XML to the next system, bypassing the need for print and paper usage.
All forms templates reside in the central FormsX Server repository and the underlying form templates themselves can be modified and edited via web browser (authorized users only) and subsequently request authorization from the department head or any other team of people responsible for the forms.
Bring your forms management and data capture into the 21st century today, without requiring a government sized bailout to do it with FormsX Server.
