Quark Announces Low Qty Low Price Maintenance

Quark has announced an interesting new option for QuarkXPress maintenance for as few as 2 users.

For as little as $292 per user, comp departments with as few as 2 licenses of QXP can benefit from Quark software maintenance which provides major version upgrades as well as network licensing through the use of Quark License Administrator (QLA).

QLA allows a group to install QuarkXPress on many different computers, on both Mac and Windows platforms, and then run concurrently however many licenses have been purchased. This contrasts to the Software Activation model, where a single workstation license is bound to a single machine.

It's a tremendous convenience (and cost savings) to be able to install desktop QXP in many places, including in Virtual Machines, without having to purchase many individual workstation licenses, and then dynamically grab and release a network license as needed.
